Why Do We Do What We Do?
The last few months we have been spending Shabbat at home and experiencing it in a manner different than ever before. Join us this week and next for an exploration of the Halakhic and Philosophical meanings of the three Shabbat rituals we do at home (other than eating and resting): Kiddush, Shabbat Candles, and Havdalah. What, precisely, are they for? Why do we do them? What do they mean for us? Also in our Zoom Room.
