MESSAGE FROM RABBI KEAN
On behalf of Congregation Beth Abraham-Jacob, I would like to wish you and your family a meaningful and restful Shabbat.
What a wonderful chagim season this has been! I am still "on cloud nine" on the heels of the last few weeks.
However, now is the part that really counts. As we return to our "regular lives," we must take the spirit and inspiration of the chagim use that to propel us to achieve more and closer to G-d. Our winter calendar of events is quickly filling up, classes will be resuming soon, and I hope that this year can be a year of growth for all of us as a community.
In particular: I look forward to celebrating our Hachnasat Sefer Torah, dedicating a new Torah for CBAJ, with all of you. Dedicating a new Torah is a truly momentous occasion, and I hope that we can share it with the borader Jewish community here in the Capital District.
I look forward to seeing you soon!
Shabbat Shalom, Rabbi Ben Kean
