MESSAGE FROM RABBI KEAN
On behalf of Congregation Beth Abraham-Jacob, I would like to wish you and your family a meaningful and restful Shabbat.
I would like to thanks everybody who shared in a meaningful, uplifting and enjoyable Rosh Hashanah here at CBAJ. It was so wonderful to be able to see the shul bursting and brimming with energy, with a mix of "longtimers" and "newcomers," young and old, and out of town of town guests.
An extra measure of gratitude to those who helped in various capacities to make Rosh Hashanah possible: our chazzanim (cantors), lainers, gabbais, greeters, shofar blowers, those who helped run youth programs, prepare and set up kiddush, those who hosted meals for out of town chazzanim, and everyone else who helped and participated.
I deeply missed all of you who were not able to make it - whether you were out of town, unable to attend for medical issue or any other reason. I hope that you had a nice and meaningful Rosh Hashanah.
I hope to see you soon at a tefilah, children's program, or social event. Looking forward to a very special Yom Kippur.
Shabbat Shalom and Gmar Chatimah Tovah, Rabbi Ben Kean
