ALBANY NCSY SHABBATON Schedule of Event: Friday night dinner and oneg at CBAJ - 8:00 PM Shabbat Day Ice Cream Kiddush at CBAJ - Noon NCSY Hang Out @ The Pond - 4:30 - 6:30 PM
On behalf of Congregation Beth Abraham-Jacob, I would like to wish you and your family a meaningful and restful Shabbat.
I hope to see you soon at tefilah, a youth program, or a social event.
Thank you to everyone who came or tuned in virtually to the joint CBAJ and Jewish Federation Tekes Ma'avar this past Wednesday to commemorate Yom HaZikaron and celebrate Yom Ha'Atzmaut.
While we exuberantly rejoice at Israel's 74th birthday this year, we also mourn the death of three Israelis who were murdered in terror attacks in Elad, Israel, on Yom Ha'Atzmaut: Boaz Gol, Yonatan Havakuk and Oren Ben Yiftah. May G-d comfort their families, especially the 16 children of these three men who are now bereft of their fathers. May G-d send a speedy recovery to all of those who were injured in these attacks and strenghten the hands of the defenders of Israel to bring the perpetrators of this horrific attack to justice.
Finally, a reminder that the Albany County Health Department's public health advisory to wear masks while indoors in public places, made in response to rising caseloads of COVID-19 in our county, remains in effect. Shabbat Shalom, Rabbi Ben Kean
