CBAJ CHANUKAH CARNIVAL The annual CBAJ Chanukah children's carnival will be on December 4th,6:45 PM - 8:00 PM. There will be carnival games, booths, latkes and doughtnuts.
CHANUKAH ON JAY CBAJ is proud to partner the Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York and Capital Chabad Centers and several other partnering organizations to present a community-wide Chanukah celebration on Jay Street in Schenectady on December 5th, 2:00-4:00 pm. The event will include live entertainment, food, crafts, a grand Menorah lighting, and a children's Menorah contest.

FALL LECTURE SERIES Mark your calendars for our Tuesday night Fall Lecture Series -Morality and the Torah: 7:30 - 8:30 PM on Zoom 11/9, 11/23, 11/30, and 12/7. The next lecture, on 12/7, is entitled Mamzer: Halachically Imposed Suffering.
SHABBAT MORNING LECTURE SERIES A lecture series, entitled Talmudic Personalities, will be held on select Shabbat mornings following 9:00 AM services (11/20, 12/18, 2/12, 3/12). The next lecture is December 18, entitled Beruria: Scholar and Glass Ceiling Breaker.
YOUTH PROGRAMMING
Youth Groups Kids in grades k-5 will meet each Shabbat morning at 10-11 am. Groups will be led by our youth director, Jack Hartstein, and teen youth leaders. For more information about attending, or if your teen wants to work as a youth leader, contact Jack Hartstein.

JEWISH FAMILY SERVICES New Offerings: Fall 2021 JFS Support Groups JFS has launched new virtual groups to help: teens “unload;” parents with day-to-day challenges; caregivers with information sharing; older adults with staying safe & connected; grief & loss; pandemic stress; and feeling down and disconnected.
JFS is helping homebound seniors with kosher meal delivery, grocery shopping and delivery and more. If you would like to volunteer 1-2 hours per week to help a senior, please click here for more information.
